The Kevin Lumm Memorial Fund Golf Tournament began in 2004 after Kevin’s passing from Batten Disease, a rare degenerative neurological disorder. Since then, the Kevin Lumm Memorial Fund has raised over $157,000 to assist local children with medical and special needs in Washington County, and the Batten Disease Support & Research Association (BDSRA) which funds research and assists families coping with this illness. BDSRA funding for services, research grants, and outreach is accomplished primarily through charitable donations like our golf tournament. Our donation helps BDSR to help families coping with Batten disease and also helps them to fund research to hopefully find treatments and possibly a cure for this terrible disease.
Our tournament is a 4 golfer scramble. Power packages are available at registration and include mulligans, power ball and a putting contest. Teams are divided into 3 flights with first and second place prizes awarded in each flight. Golf registration begins at 7:30 am and tournament play begins at 8:30 am with a shotgun start. Your entry fee includes your green fees and cart, 18 holes of golf, Donuts, coffee and juice at start, beverages on course and a lunch buffet at clubhouse immediately following tournament. The 2018 date and location will be announced shortly with registration information to follow.
