Our History
The Maugansville Ruritan Club was chartered on April 30, 1953 with 20 members. It was the 5th club in the state of Maryland and the 539th in the nation. As we celebrate our 73rd year as a club we are proud to have over 60 members including honorary and associate members, making us one of the largest clubs in the state and are honored to serve the Maugansville Community

The Maugansville Ruritan Club’s all you can eat Country Breakfast featuring all you can eat scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, sausage gravy, juice and coffee. Still only $8.00 per person. We can't wait to see you !!

Our annual community auction will be Saturday March 21, 2026 at the Ruritan building from 2pm until everything is sold. We will be auctioning donated items from area businesses. Everything from furniture to household goods to gift certificates to a little of anything and everything. Definitely something for everyone. If you have any sellable items you would like to donate call 301-739-9822. Food and drink will also be available. So come out and support this great cause. All proceeds go back into the community. AUCTION STARTS AT 2PM!!!!!

Bring the kids !! It's time for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt..... Saturday April 4, 2026 at 1pm in the community park !! Children will be divided into age groups and there will also be a special section for handicap and special needs children.
