Kevin's Fund is funded by the Kevin's Fund Golf Tournament. The tournament began in 2004 in memory of Kevin Lumm after his passing at age 20 from Batten Disease. Batten disease is a rare degenerative neurological disorder.
The tournament is held the last Friday in June at the Black Rock Golf Course.
The Maugansville Ruritan Club administer

The Maugansville Ruritan Club administers the fund that has provided items such as computer tablets, a special swing, adaptive bike, funds toward a handicap van, travel funds for medical treatment and funding for 6 portable Bocce Ball courts to be used by all children, including those with special needs, attending Washington County Public Schools.
