Our History
The Maugansville Ruritan Club was chartered on April 30, 1953 with 20 members. It was the 5th club in the state of Maryland and the 539th in the nation. As we celebrate our 72nd year as a club we are proud to have over 60 members including honorary and associate members, making us one of the largest clubs in the state and are honored to serve the Maugansville Community

The Maugansville Ruritan Club along with Interludes With Impact, Brewer's Saab Inc and HR Ebersole and Sons Inc are sponsoring a movie night in the park on Friday June 20, 2025 at approximately 9:15pm (depending on darkness). Bring your chairs and blankets and we will set up in the park for your viewing pleasure. (if it rains we will be set up under the pavilion) The movie will be the blockbuster movie Sherlock Gnome for your viewing pleasure. Admission is by donation and our concession stand will be open throughout the movie, selling of course, popcorn, hotdogs and your favorite candy and drinks. All of the proceeds will go back into the community. So spread the word and come out and help us, help you and enjoy a movie under the stars..
